Antique & Vintage Rings
A striking Art Deco ring dating to circa 1930, finely crafted in 18ct white and yellow gold, centred by a vivid rectangular step-cut green emerald of approximately 0.50 carat. The emerald is presented in a distinctive bezel setting, its rich saturated green providing a dramatic focal point against the bright diamond-set surround.
The elongated geometric mount is characteristic of the Art Deco period, featuring an intricate openwork design of stylised arches, fan motifs and intersecting lines, creating a strong architectural and symmetrical appearance. The surrounding diamonds are individually bezel set and finished with delicate milgrain detailing, lending definition and texture to the finely worked framework. Further diamond-set geometric accents extend above and below the central emerald, enhancing the ring's elegant vertical proportions.
The combination of crisp geometric lines, openwork, milgrain decoration and contrasting white and yellow gold gives the piece an unmistakably sophisticated Art Deco character. The diamonds have an approximate total weight of 1.00 carat, graded approximately I/J colour and SI clarity.
An elegant and highly decorative period jewel, distinguished by its beautiful green emerald, intricate pierced setting and refined early-20th-century craftsmanship. A wonderful addition to any fine jewellery collection.
