Antique Victorian 15ct Yellow Gold Starburst Diamond and Pearl Brooch/Pendant

An exquisite Victorian starburst brooch and pendant combination, crafted circa 1875 in rich 15ct yellow gold.

This beautifully intricate piece features a layered, dimensional star motif, set throughout with lustrous seed pearls and centred with a single old-cut diamond, securely claw-set to catch the light.

The radiating design is typical of the celestial themes popular in the mid to late 19th century, with finely detailed goldwork and excellent symmetry enhancing its striking appearance.
