A striking oval lapis lazuli cabochon takes centre stage in this elegant circa 1950 cocktail ring, displaying a rich, deep blue hue with a wonderfully smooth, polished surface.
The cabochon is beautifully framed by a scalloped halo of rose-cut diamonds, each individually set in 18ct white gold, creating a delicate contrast between the vivid blue of the lapis lazuli and the soft sparkle of the antique-cut diamonds.
The white gold setting is further enhanced by the distinctive detailing of milgrain edging, lending the piece a refined and finely worked appearance.
